Can you guys give me the different tiers for the top universities to get into investment banking or just getting into Wall Street in general? From what I heard Wharton and Harvard r the top

Refer to the previous posts on CC by searching best schools for investment banking. It’s wharton, harvard, Princeton, Yale at the top, maybe stanford (slightly disadvantaged due to location away from NYC), and MIT Sloan. Next tier is like Dartmouth, Columbia, Cornell, brown, NYU Stern, umich Ross, Georgetown, Duke, UC Berkeley.

Also recommend a site called Wall Street oasis, it has information from professionals working in the industry on all aspects of investment banking.

I use this for IB:
Wharton / Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, MIT, Columbia, UChicago, Duke, Northwestern, Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, NYU Stern, UC Berkeley Haas, Michigan Ross, UVa, …

@blu5959 @DanielHendrycks What about UNC?

Its a fringe target, you’d be better off going with UVA or indiana university kelly school of business’ investment banking workshop

@blu5959 lol it’s definitely more of a target than UVA or Indiana.

@frig11 are you sure about that? Indiana university’s investment banking workshop program places quite well

Wharton, Harvard

Cornell AEM, Columbia, Dartmouth, Brown, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, Penn CAS

Cornell non-AEM, Chicago, Northwestern, Duke, Georgetown

Then there are the rest like UCB, UVA, Stern, and UMich
