I understand that not many colleges offer the investments and securities major but I want to understand what the difference is between a investments & securities major and a finance major? Also which one is more valuable?

Look online and see what coursework that is required for both majors. That should give you the best indication of the differences between the two programs.
Investment and securities is just a part of finance. It’s a more specific major.
I & S sounds hyper-specialized, to me.
