Invitation Application Decision Notification Date

I am hoping that BrandeisOfficial, or others, may be able to identify the date that the decisions for those who applied through the early invitation application will be sent out. I know that notification is supposed to be by Feb 15 but of course Feb 15 is a Sunday and even Feb 14 is part of the winter school vacation week (and we will be away). Is the date known at this time and if so could you pass it on?

Thanks for your help!

I was actually wondering the same thing...

All right, I just called admissions and this is what I was told. The postmark date will be February 15. In D's case this means that she will not learn their decision until after she returns home from our school vacation week on Feb 22.

Hope this information was of help.

^Thanks :)

Edit: Silly question... do they postmark on Sundays?

I really don't know how they are accomplishing that part. I had initially mentioned how the 15th was a Sunday. Since the young lady had to go ask for the answer, I did not want to argue.

The main point for us is that we will not be receiving it before we leave town the night of the 13th.

Hello everyone,

We will be sending this round of decisions out on Friday, February 13th. So hopefully they should reach you a few days after that. Sorry to those of you who will be away on vacation.

I'm in! :)

Congrats to you Blink. Though we also live in Mass and therefore should have heard today, we are currently in Maine and won't learn anything until next weekend. :(

Congratulations, blinkangel44. Hopefully, we'll have the same decision in our home. Also, I'm glad you posted because I was worried about when/how quickly the Special Invitation apps were going to be sent. Glad to know that they're in the post office as we speak! Does the financial aid package (merit and/or need) comes with that letter or in a separate letter?

More questions Blink - Willing to share your stats? I also noticed that you mention you do facebook groups. Is there one for Brandies '13?

Thanks for the congrats, everyone! Best of luck to you guys!

My stats:
4.7 weighted GPA (pretty sure it's 4.0 UW)
2240 superscored SAT
660 Bio, 750 Math II, 790 US History SAT Subject Tests

Leader of Diversity Club, creator of Badminton Club, NHS, Leo Club, Peer Tutor, working at Kumon since this past summer...

Am I missing any aspects?

And I'm not sure about FB groups.

WOW...you certainly deserve it! By the way, what is an FB group?

Blink - Nice stats. Like collegebound asked, was there any sign of merit, etc in that envelope? I wonder if those are disclosed at the same time or they come later.

Collegebound - FB group = Facebook Group

MB later we will have something to share. We called big brother at Tufts and kind of hinted that it would be nice if he drove home and went through the mail tonight. Don't know if he will but it is lousy having to wait the extra week.

thank you smoda; I can't believe I didn't make the connection with the acronym...long day I suppose :)

Ok, S just called. He drove home from college to check our mail for D. She was accepted. She's is excited!

Congrats, smoda! Glad that big brother @ Tufts could run home and check...it was certainly worth it!

Thanks. It was nice of him to take time out of his Saturday night (I think he did Valentine's day yesterday).

What were your D's stats, if I may ask?

I have yet to write up the full profile w/ ECs etc. If needed I can do so but here is the abbreviated profile:
