<p>anybody with a decent GPA and a 1800+ score can nominate himself/herself for the GYLC, i nominated myself and got an invitation letter! I don’t think its really worth mentioning on your application(but then that’s just my opinion)</p>

<p>you’ll get plenty of invites from these profit organizations - gylc, nslc and more. they tap your mailing address through your SAT billing, or collegeboard profile. honestly speaking, every second person gets an invite, so its not at all prestigious. but yeah, those who go for it do mention that its quite an edifying experience.</p>
