Invitation to honors program?

I just received an email from UMN inviting me to a CLA Dean’s Showcase for Honors Students… but I haven’t been notified of any kind of invitation/admission to the honors program, and I just checked my app tracker online and it doesn’t say anything there, either. So does this mean they just have yet to notify me officially?

P.S. – totally unrelated to the question, but figured I’d ask. I just got my ACT scores from December back today, and my composite was a 33 (36 R, 36 E, 32 S, 29 M). It was my first time taking the ACT. My SAT score that I sent is 2150 (740 CR, 650 M, 760 W). I’m planning on sending in my ACT score tonight… do you think my ACT score would make much of a difference regarding scholarship/merit aid chances?

D2 got the same e-mail and I’m pretty sure in her case it’s a mistake. Her tracker doesn’t mention Honors and her rank and SAT don’t suggest it so perhaps some wires got crossed over in admissions. Wouldn’t surprise us to get an “Oopsie” e-mail very shortly but if she doesn’t then maybe she’ll attend! In any case it’s worth going back to check the Tracker every day LOL.
