<p>I was asked to withdraw my junior year for disciplinary reasons, and I'm wondering if I have to report it under the questions along these lines:</p>
<p>Have you ever been found responsible for a disciplinary violation at any educational institution you have attended from the 9th grade (or the international equivalent) forward, whether related to academic misconduct or behavioral misconduct, that resulted in your probation, suspension, removal, dismissal, or expulsion from the institution?</p>
<p>It was not an expulsion, and I was allowed to return the next semester. My principal flat out told me that nothing went on my record. Do I still have to say yes? If I do, then what's even the point of being asked to withdraw instead of being expelled?</p>
