I took it with Lavieri and it was great! She let’s you work on all of the homework assignments in teams. You can even check your answers with her during office hours. Seriously, I was standing in her office during office hours and someone asked her if she could check her answer and she did.

“any other 400 levels you recommend taking?”

I recommend taking IOE 440 (Operations Analysis and Management). It’s like IOE 202, but you learn a lot more material. I also recommend IOE 453 (Derivative Instruments), but it is only offered in the winter.

Whatever you do, DO NOT take IOE 447 (Facility Planning). It was by far the worst class I took at Michigan. The top 4 comments from Yavuz Bozer at University of Michigan | Rate My Professors; pretty much sum up IOE 447.

great thanks
how were the exams?

I liked Daskin’s class. I didn’t like the others much.

419?

yeah, that’s the one he’s talking about
