IOE Schedule/Elective Classes for Engineers

So I am taking 201 202 and 265 right now and I dont know what to schedule for next semester. I believe I am going to take IOE 373, 316/366 and I am not sure what other two classes I want to take. I am busy with extracurriculars and I dont want to overdo myself. I was thinking of choosing two classes, ACC 271/NERS 211/FIN 325, and not sure about these classes. How are these classes? Anyone recommend any really beneficial elective classes? I am interested in finance and consulting.

I recommend EECS 270/280. The workload is higher than the rest, but the rest are also useless. I’m taking CEE 265 for my 3rd but it’s about as boring as it gets.

You could also take 333/334.

i think what used to be ACC 271 is now ACC 300? it’s an important class if you want to go into finance/consulting, but really boring. the workload was really light when i took it.

ners 211 is one of the easiest (perhaps the easiest) non-ioe tech electives you can take.

what are some useful/good classes in ross to take? Also should I take 310/333 with a new professor this semester or just wait for Professor Cohn and the main guy for Ergo (forgot his name). How is 373?

I would highly recommend taking 333 with Yili Liu. He makes the very dry material seem very exciting and the class is pretty easy.

373 is pretty easy too. Take it with Guzzman if you can. It’s kind of a combination of a programming and stats class. Material is kind of boring at times but he makes it easy to understand.
