Simpson is a small LAC in a great small town of about 12,000+. I’m from the area, and know several students at Simpson.

Drake is bigger, in Des Moines. Shady area IMO, but good school. Know a few students and went to their sports camps when I was in HS.

Schools like Simpson are all over Iowa, part of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, with good sports teams, student life, etc. The school has a Methodist affiliation, but doesn’t push it and it’s not an overwhelming element. Other schools in the state of the same size and student body type are Wartburg, Coe, William Penn, Central, Buena Vista, Cornell, Dubuque, Loras, and Luther. All pretty similar.
