I have been offered admission (Fall 2017) to Iowa State University in software engineering and computer science at CSU Fresno.
I have difficulty in choosing among them. The only criteria I require is ,which of the two universities offer better coding skills and lot resources relating to computer sience
There is no comparison. ISU is hands down a superior school academically.

Do you apply to any other CSU schools on your list?
Good CS, software engineering within the CSU system would include both Cal Poly’s, SJSU, SDSU, SFSU, and CSULB.
Fresno is an OK school, but a bit off the beaten track for CS/software engineering, so the resources would not be as robust as many of the other CSU’s.
