I am struggling to decide between the University of Iowa and the University of South Florida for pre-med studies. Does anyone have any input on the quality of classes and programs that could help me choose which one would be better? (Just looking to know about the program. Not taking cost into consideration yet.)
Although Iowa is more well known, USF is a very strong school for any one looking towards the sciences/medicine. I say choose which ever one you like better.
You have a thread for Iowa v Temple and Iowa v Purdue. Why don’t you put all of your ideas in one thread instead of this piecemeal way? In any event Iowa seems to be the common denominator. Are you in-state for Iowa? If it is the most affordable then it is a good choice if you are pre-med as med school is very expensive.
And as noted on another thread, there is no major as pre-med studies. You can be any major and be pre-med as long as you take the required pre-med coursework.
