IPH at Washu/Writing 1 Question

If any current WashU students could shed some light on their experiences with the Interdisciplinary Project in the Humanities program directly or indirectly, it would be much appreciated. Also, I saw on the Writing I website that there is a special section reserved for Text & Tradition students...what courses do you have to take in order to get into this section/is it any different than the "regular" Writing I sections?

anyone? 10char

For your second question, you have to enroll in the text and traditions programs. I think it’s four courses over your first two years? You should look at the academic bulletin for information.

The one advantage is you take the same group of classes, including writing, with other people. I haven’t taken writing, but I imagine they’re all the same.

There are writing 1 sections for most programs, such as focus, text and traditions, nemerov scholars, etc.

Okay thanks! Has anyone taken any text and tradition courses?

Anyone know about the Writing 1 sections for Nemerov? Is it just another name for Nem Sem, or is it another class altogether?
