I have an iPhone 3G for about a month (it was used before). Anyways, I was using it last night. The power level was pretty low (like at 20 %) and so it shut it self off (like normal). So then I put it on my charger. While charging it had the apple symbol and a dark screen. I thought it would go away as it does usually but when I woke up the next day it still had the screen on it. I tried manually turning it off (pressing the top button to shut off) but nothing happened. I also tried turning on iTunes on my lap top but it doesn't sense my iPhone and it also doesn't open up the iTunes store because "the network connection timed out". But my internet connection works just fine. I'm worried that maybe both my lap top and iPhone caught a virus. But I'm not sure. How do I fix my iPhone?

Phones don’t get viruses ■■■■■
Anyways, call Apple Support and ask them about it. They’ll probably have a answer for you.

My iPod touch freezes sometimes too. I think your iPhone just crashed (all phones crash at some point). I just leave my iPod touch frozen for 20 min or so and it unfreezes itself. I don’t know about the iPhone, but can you take the battery out? Reset button? Let it run out of power and then re-charge it.

^^ smart phones do get viruses. There aren’t many but some do exist.

The solution to your iPhone problem is to use Android.

Thank You, everyone. I called Apple Support and I was able to unfreeze my phone.

Warm it up.
