iPhone rules

just… AT&T blows…

Unlock it so you don’t have to use the overpriced and crappy AT&T

AT&T is horrible. Other than that I personally think the iPhone is the best phone in North America.
AT&T is improving though.

I hate my iPhone.
It constantly freezes. Constantly, as in at least once every day.
AT&T’s service is ridiculous. My apartment is right next to an AT&T building and I still can’t get any service in my apartment.

I periodically get urges to slam the phone into a brick wall and go back to Verizon and Samsung.

Pros
it has an amazing screen for movies
everything is really intuitive and easy to use
internet access everywhere
touch screen
you can download a ton of free apps and it opens sooo many possibilities for a phone
can download songs/apps while away from the computer
Cons
lack of keys fro texting
no video
I have never experienced freezing but the Apple service (genius bar) is amazing
and AT&T work GREAT where I live

Cool, what do you guise mean by “unlocking”?

verizon and tMobile have ghetto service but the cooler phones. If I were you I’d just get an iPod Touch becasue, as a phone, the iPhone is awful (ime), and is quite expensive each month. If you want emails and stuff on the go get a Blackberry (the 8350 and Bold are excellent [parents have one of each]).

so what should i get:
Blackberry
Iphone
Ipod touch
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I hated Blackberry. I had the Bold and Storm and the Bold had major issues with 3G to 2G hand offs. (I know geeky terms OOOHHH) The Storm is ridiculously slow and I hated that clicking screen. iPhone is ok if you get service with AT&T. Wait until June-ish. A new iPhone is releasing.

ipod touch for music… no phone. Just music, games, some apps, and such

I actually like the blackberrys (and the touch) so I think if you go with either ofthose you would do well. If they do come out with a new iPhone in June you might want to wait till then at least

There actually are video applications. I have the 2nd generation 8gb iPhone, and I’ve had it for about a year. I love it and don’t know what I’d do without it. You can find an application for really anything and even make your own. If you jailbreak it, you can customize EVERYTHING, which I extremely love. I think the only huge con is that it doesn’t come with MMS, but there are some applications that you can get that will do it, or you just have to send pictures through e-mail. I’d recommend getting it for sure.

get the lg env2

^ Don’t get the env. Get the lg voyager! I got vcast and internet on it for free for a month :). You can use both its external and internal screen to text. (The internal part has a full qwerty keyboard).
