iPod help needed!

Here's the deal:

When I turn on my iPod (video 30GB), I'm greeted by a blank white screen or a white screen+tons of blue lines. But when I connect it to iTunes, the iPod's recognized and songs are loaded without a hitch.

I;m guessing this is a display issue. Help?

Eoohh... I don't know what to tell you. Call Apple Support. they should be able to help.

I personally think I may need to replace my display...just wanna know if anyone else has a perhaps less expensive solution :)

And yes, I will try Apple tomorrow

Have you tried resetting or reformating it? These are the first things Apple will ask you to do, so try it before you call!

Mine had a software glitch a few weeks ago, and had did the blank white screen thing after a failed reset. I reset it again, and it was okay, but it was still really slow. I finally formated it and put everything back on it. It works perfectly now!

Tried both, but the blank screen stays!

Sounds like you need to send it into Apple. Hope you're still under warranty. Good luck with everything.

Yep, if those didn't work it's time to call Apple if you're still under warranty.

send it in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or, go to an Apple store. They try to fix it right in front of you, and, if they can't, they give you a new iPod. Only if you have a warranty, though.

You have to call your local Apple store, or reserve a spot at the Genius Bar online.
