ipod or ipod mini?

I'm leaning toward ipod mini since it is cheaper, has a beautiful color, and I do not need 3,264 songs on my ipod...
what would you recommend?

good choice

i too purchased a mini because i could barely fill 200 songs on it. As such, getting an iPod that offers 10,000 storage was a waste of money to me.

Technically though, the regular iPod offers more value for the HD.

If you prefer the smaller size, more color choices, and don't have a large MP3 collection, the iPod mini is great!

ipod mini is a bit more fragile

Also, the top and bottom edges are sharp.. DOH!

cough mini cough i have the green mini

I have a regular one, and personally, I was able to fill it with over 1,000 songs quite easily. Also, it is a much better deal. Just my two cents

I love the original. I think the concept of the ipod is that you have unlimited space. It doesn't cost that much more either.

ipod, definitely. you get much more space and honestly, ipod minis aren't THAT small.

I have the ipod photo and I love it...even tho that wasn't really a choice

how much is ipod photo? i know i coulda googled it but meh, too lazy.

you guys need more songs.... :-)

I am certain that when I put all the music I have on my 20 GB iPOD, I will have over 1500 songs....... :-) Music is life!

and an iPOD photo is 350 right now

ipod because you get more space for your money

i have a 40 gig ipod photo (got a fantastic deal on it)
and it's full.

and i don't have any of my CDs on it yet.

d'oh!

i <3 my iPod!

appreciate you guys for replies.
I will probably get ipod-mini. Even though music is my life, I have no desire to give any pressure to my right hand thumb perpetually spinning to search the song I want to hear..

I'd go with the mini.
- I don't have a large collection. I'd rather buy the whole CD of artists I like and then pick and choose MP3s of artists with only a few good songs.

Cheaper

For those sharp edges and the fragile-ness, you get get a rubbery case thing. :3 Ipod Mini is my choice.

I also recommend the mini. My sister and I each have one, and adore them! It's not as fragile as it looks, my sisters was dropped 4 feet on to a concreate sidewalk without a case, and was unscathed other than a tiny ding on the top back edge.

For those that have to ask, I'd assume they don't listen to enough music to care.. so go with a mini

Is it true that I get a discount for showing my acceptance letter of college???!??!

wwwwwwwhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaa??????

The mini just doesnt have the storage capacity. I would need several to house my music (sure I could switch in the songs, but then why not just stick with an old flash player...gotta have it all). Its not small enough to make a differance and its not price efficient at all.
