ipod question (please help!!!!)

here is the problem:
all of my songs got deleted from itunes(dont ask why) and my computer
but i still have them on my ipod. too scared to put more songs on cuz i know it will delete the ones on my ipod.

here is the question
you know when you hook up your ipod and go to "my computer", there is a removable disk usually labeled "E" drive. there do you think i could copy those songs onto a different folder and then i could use them to put them onto itunes?

yes, you can copy data from removable drives onto your hard drive.

search 'ipodagent' on google...its a lot better for ripping songs from ur ipod

Is there an Mac equivalent of the ipod agent? I'm thinking of getting a Powerbook, but it seems that ipod agent is only for Windows. Also, any thoughts on the 60 gb ipod?

My thoughts on the 60 GB iPod... do you have that much music? Do you have that much music that you'll actually listen to and want to have with you? Do you ahve the money to buy one? If not, go with a smaller iPod.

I just like the idea of having enough space. I have a ton of CDs and since it is supposed to be an "external drive", I think it would serve other purposes as well (though I doubt the majority of people bother with that). How do you get rid of the dreaded external error problem with itunes? I'm tired of having exclamations next to half of my songs.

buuuump..........................

somewhere on ipod lounge they listed a program like ipodagent for macs, i think, but i don't remember the name...try looking around on google for a program
