Iq

Mine was tested in high school. I got a 167. Just a number, though, as I struggle with my engineering curriculum here at GT :(

Did you go to a crappy public (like me) or a nice private high school, Running?

I remember the number 200, oh sorry that was my SAT verbal score

lol, citation x :)

Somewhere in between... crappy public in a nice district.

does anybody here do brain exercises on a daily basis to improve their intelligence?

Yeah. I call it "work."

No I am talking more along the lines of memory games, etc...

Hey! You replied! Actually, I do a half-dozen crossword puzzles a week. It definitely keeps my vocabulary and problem-solving skills tuned up.

"Hey! You replied!"

Are you making fun of me?

I find it funny how most people post their IQs of some sort, then proceed to say how your IQ is just a number, doesn't really matter at all, and is inaccurate in testing true intelligence.

It's just our attempt to appear humble. :)

You don't have a 167, almost certainly.

167 is a VERY high IQ. I mean to say, it is belived that Einstein had an IQ of 162 (correct me if I'm wrong),

so.....you either have the ability to be a potential nobel prize winner, or the test was a joke.

Yes, I think 162 is correct, however IQ isn't everything. Einstein was absolutely amazing and thinking creatively. I mean, the two people who demonstrated the molecular structure of DNA (James D. Watson and Francis Crick) had IQs around 110, which is just above normal.

As science gets more advanced I think the likelihood of this happening again is becoming more and more improbable.

Cite? Watson graduated from the University of Chicago and 19 and finished a PhD at 22. Of course if your argument is that IQ doesn't measure anything important, that may not seem inconsistent.

This is a totally random question, but how do you highlight quotes like the one done above me?
whatever you want to write
Remove the stars and you have a quote box.
