Irha?

Is there anyone in IRHA that can tell me a little more about it? I'm thinking about attending the Fall Leadership 2011 conference, and I'm hoping I can get a little more information on it before I apply.

I’m not in it personally, but I do know people in it… so I will share some things that I know. It’s a lot of fun and you’ll meet a lot of people, but it is time consuming. The meetings are on Monday nights (I think…), and typically last for most of the evening. Your time will be spent planning lots of events, and running them. There’s perks to being in it, too - I think that you might get a discount on housing, maybe? If you’re in it for a certain amount of time, I think. And you have many opportunities to get involved in a lot of other activities by being involved in IRHA… president of your dorm, student government, etc. You’ll make good contacts. However, if your major is really time consuming, I don’t know that I’d recommend it because IRHA itself is very time consuming if you want to get really involved. But everyone I know who does it, loves it.
