Hi, last year I got into Wash U (i am going to washu now) and got GT for IRL in Cornell (my initial first choice). I have been struggling ever since deciding whether I screw Wash U and go to IRL for sophomore year or just stay in Wash U. At Wash U, I currently enroll in Artsci school and plan on majoring economics and finance or accounting. I need help deciding this as I am utterly confused because I do not know much about IRL at all.

Important factors I am considering are
1) Job factor!!!! I want to make $$$$$ when I graduate.
2) Difficulty
3) Quality and price of Ithaca bud.

The ivy tag will probably help alot if your into $. You may or may not be into ILR...you might wanna research what it is before you go ahead and transfer. But in the event you do transfer and hate it, it is pretty easy to switch majors or even colleges at Cornell. Since its a good school, they have good programs in pretty much everything anyway.
Im not a cornell student yet, but I know the work is pretty difficult there. Places looking at your transcript will know that and take it into consideration, though. I don't think the work will be too much worse than Wash u.
I donno about costs yet, but I know Ithaca is a great place to be. Nice college town, good food, in proximity with Ithaca U, pretty location.
You'll do well at both places. But we people in the Cornell forum will tell you Cornell is da bomb and will blow the shizzz out of Wash u's shizzel.

if the first thing that you care about is money, you'll make more from Cornell

cornell isn't that crazy, do your work and you'll do well. i doubt it's that much more work than wash u

Ithaca is gorges

but seriously...i mean i visited st. louis when i was looking at schools (ended up not applying to wash u) and remember it, it's a cool city vs. a decent small town. ithaca is fine. and if you mean price of ithaca itself? ithaca is cheeeeeapppooo big time (in price). the price of cornell is just the same as any other school, i'm not sure what you're referring to.
