Ok so I took the general SAT today (3/8/14) in the U.S. After completing the test, I waited for another friend to finish. The proctor realized that she gave us 4 less minutes than we should have had for section 9 (16 minutes for a 20 minute section). I and most others were able to finish the section, so no one noticed the extra time restraint. The proctor called Collegeboard to report the mistake. What will happen to my ( and 20 others') scores? Will they be invalidated or will there be no effect?

PLEASE ANSWER I'M FREAKING OUT

I am not sure, but I think that if they find that if a lot of people complained, then they might cancel the scores for the entire room.

The decision will most likely be based on student complaints.

Again, I am not completely sure.

It’ll suck if you have to take the test again :-/

Good luck

Additional Info: Only one other student and I found out about the error, and the other student did not seem to really care about the mistake, so I’m guessing that no students complained to Collegeboard.—idk if this affects anything.
