Hi, I just took the SAT today and while I was taking the test I realized that I filled in answers for the last 4 questions of "Section 9" into "Section 8" as well as filling in an answer for a question in "Section 10" into "Section 9" (all three sections were on the same page of the answer sheet). When I realized the idiotic mistakes I made, the test was almost 2 minutes from ending so I had to tell my proctor and explain what happened. She filed an irregularity report with details as to what happened. I was wondering what the chances are that they might end up cancelling my score as opposed to fixing my mistakes? Honestly with my parents spending money for me to take SAT tutoring classes and college applications right around the corner, I cannot believe this happened. -___-

bump in case anyone wants to make any comment on this

do you think i should sign up late for the November SAT in case my October score does get canceled?

I highly doubt they’ll “correct” your test. Either you can cancel your score and retake, or just go with a slightly lower score. I know someone who accidentally mis-bubbled on an AMC exam and missed AIME qualification because of that.

honestly i’d take a lowered score over a canceled one since i felt like i did pretty well on this SAT :(
