<p>This was from a math league event last year...just found a copy of the question, and wondered how long it would take people to solve...</p>

<p>(pardon the manner in which it's written)</p>

<p>If: </p>

<p>log base 9 of P + log base 16 of Q = log base 12 of ( P + Q ),</p>

<p>what is the value of ( P / Q ) ?</p>

<p>I saw this problem in AoPS Vol. 1....except it was log base 9 of P = log base 16 of Q = log base 12 of ( P + Q )....</p>
