The fact is not
Most people in my bio class got in UCI a month ago, except me.
I think I know the reason. I choose biological science as major, and that's the only bio major opens for transfer. Probably the competition is too high. Every bio major apply for Biological science. In UCD and UCSD, there are over 20 bio-related majors to choose, so the competition in UCI may be higher than D and SD.</p>

<p>I hear the UCI grant is not too shabby; on average it covers most/all of the tuition expenses (which is ~$6k-$8k).</p>
