Is "1" a prime number?
It noted in PR book that 1 is not a prime number.......is that true?

Yes. 1 is generally not considered prime or composite.

is it because a prime number can only be divisible by its original number and 1? and 1 cannot be considered a prime number since it can only be divisible by itself, unlike 13 which has two different numbers to divide by.i hope that is the right reasoning...

1 is not prime http://mathworld.wolfram.com/PrimeNumber.html

sweet..i guess my reasoning was correct!

1 is NOT a prime number; it is a "unity."

1 is not a prime number. why? a prime number needs to have two factors.

is 60 a prime number

60 is not prime. it can be divided by more than just 1 and itself.

superly thinks he's funny...I can tell lol

What is the first ten digit prime number that appears in consecutive digits of e?

I feel like this is something I must know for tomorrow's SAT.

I See What You Did There

O Rly.....

no, definitely not

remember, 2 is prime, an often confused fact

Just put a list of Primes in your calculator. Although you never need them up to 100, especially for the regular SAT compared to the II's, having them all in a list allows me to quickly see what/how many are between certain numbers for when they ask. I have had three prime-related questions during my SAT/SAT II takings.
