Is 10 min break enough in UCSD?

I'm incoming freshman this year! And I'm trying to schedule my classes.. and I wonder if 10 minute break between the classes are long enough in UCSD
I try to schedule my econ class 10:00~10:50, and CSE3 class between 11:00~11:50.
The one is price center and the other is center hall, which I think I need about 5 minutes to walk, right?
Anyways, I just wonder if professors usually delay the class or something.. I don't have any experience in UCSD or any other college.. so help me out please!

Even if the prof. doesn’t delay the class 10 minutes is more than enough for going between Price and Center :)

thanks patronusfelicis, but let me change my word
I didn’t mean delaying, but professors keeping students and not letting them go for a few minutes. Do they usually do that?

oh here is the perfect perfect perfect link:

you will love it  [i hope!]

some of my prof has kept student in for a few minutes, but with those two classes at price and center, it still wouldnt be a problem. the most ive everbeen kept was 5 mins tops…and i might be remembering wrong. probably less than that

spatel, I already knew that but thanks though~
Thanks for a help guys  I decided to schedule the classes next to each other… let’s see what happens lol

ahaha mmhm np.
lol didnt read the last sentence xD

I’m a new student too and I chose to have a longer break between classes I didn’t want to rush running to class.

i’m of the opposite opinion; i’d rather have all my classes bunched together (even if it meant a WLH-York uphill sprint) and huge chunks of free time. there’s really not much you can do with an hour in between classes except study for a short bit or grab a bite to eat.

Price Center is pretty much right next to Center Hall, during the day library walk can be crowded but it should still only take 5 minutes, if that. It sounds like a good schedule, go with it

Also- Profs usually start class on-time, they don’t wait around for stragglers.

Oh and about 30 seconds before the end of class all 300 students in the lecture hall start putting away laptops and loudly zipping up backpacks- whether the prof is finished or not. So you don’t have to worry about lectures going late.

However, the small weekly discussion sections led by the TA (room with about 20 students) sometimes goes a few minutes over or end a few minutes early, and if you plan to ask the TA questions after discussion you might want more than the 10 minute break.
