I was taken off the waitlist for a language class at MV and the professor that emailed me said that the class ends at 3:10 (I double checked but she insisted that it ends at 3:10), but my schedule on GWeb says that it ends at 3:20; anyway, my next class is in Funger Hall (Foggy Bottom) at 3:30. Is there enough time to get from MV to Funger hall in just ten (or possibly twenty) minutes?

10 minutes is pushing it. I’d say in 20 yeah.

Couldn’t just waiting for the shuttle take 10 minutes? I agree that might be pretty tough.

My daughter is a sophmore at GW. She lived at MV last year and loved it. MV is very close nit and my daughter formed great relationships with fellow students in her dorm and the others on the campus. She absolutely loved Eckles Library. At MV, she found a nuturing environment and a place where she had fun but was able to concentrate on her studies. She also had friends at Georgetown and was able to get there pretty easily. I dont remember her complaining about the shuttle. In runs very frequently and it probably takes 15 minutes or so. This year she lives on Foggy and yes, she does feel that she will have a little more time on her hands due to not taking the shuttle. If you are thinking about living at MV, I recommend it based on my daughter’s experience.

10 minutes isn’t realistic. It’ll take 10-20 minutes for the drive – more with traffic – plus walking back and forth and waiting for the shuttle. Either you’re going to be late regularly, or you should pick another class.
