Is 14 credits not enough for med school?

Hi, today is my last day of add/drop and I currently am signed up for 14 credits. 4 come from University Physics (includes calculus) which is a 200 level course and has a lab, 4 from Microbiology which has a lab and is a 200 level course, 3 come from Biochemistry which is a 400 level course but no lab, 1 is from being an Organic Chemistry TA (3 hours/week), 1 is from being a Cellular and Molecular Biology TA (3+ hours/week), and 1 is from doing independent Organic Chemistry research (3-6 hours every week). I could take another course, which could bring me up to 17 credits, but I want to focus on being successful in the courses I have now. Would it look bad to just be taking those three courses and the extras this semester? I do additional volunteer work outside of all of this.

With 14 credits will you be on track to graduate in 8 semesters?

One semester with 14 credits will not prevent you from getting into med school.

A pattern of taking a less than full time (4 classes/semester) enrollment will raise serious questions about your ability to succeed in medical school.
