Is 16B considered a "weeder course"

I know 1B is for sure a weeder course, but what about 16B? Experiences?

This is for calculus by the way.

Presumably, Math 16A and 16B is mostly taken by students aiming for the business and economics (less-math option) majors, both of which require good GPA to enter. In addition, Math 16A and 16B are presumably taken by weaker-at-math students who find math more difficult than those who take Math 1A and 1B, or more advanced math courses. So it would not be surprising if many students in Math 16A and 16B feel that it is “hard” or a “weeder” course.

I like the logic behind this, I think you are correct @ucbalumnus . I was more so asking about the curve rather than the material. Thanks for your help :)
