I need to take 18 credits to catch back up, but I'm not sure if it is going to be too much for me. The classes I would be taking are:
US History
Political Science
Psychology
Art appreciation
& then English and Sociology online.
What do you think? Is it doable?
If it is too hard the first couple of weeks, I will definitely drop one of them.

Right now I’m taking 19 credits, which is 6 classes. I’m also doing it to catch up. It’s not as bad as I thought. Plus I’m working full time. The online classes are good for my situation. So if I could do it really anyone can do it

ya you can take all the classes you want but not getting B’s or higher it starts to be a problem. I am taking 22 units, all Stem courses, while maintaining a 4.0 gpa. It is definitely doable but you must ask yourself how much partying, social media, recreational activities are you willing to give up and do you have the self-discipline to study just about every day all day for 16 weeks. The hard work pays off.

I would also say to look at all the ‘stuff’ I told another student on another similar question in the community college forum section (‘what should I take in college’?). There are a lot of variables, and I don’t want to repeat them, but as a teacher at a 2-year school, that is quite a heavy course load, Danika 741. RedEyeJedi, you amaze me! I have met very few people who balance out that overload/get permission for it, plus work an outside job if necessary. Kudos to you. And a p.s.: when you write ‘Catch back up’ Danika741, it makes me wonder about what you mean by catching up. Did you take some time off or have a lack of success in credits taken previously? Work at a pace that is best for you so that you can succeed in the classes you take. Best of luck to you.
