<p>My EFC is 0 and i got 19,190, and it seems people on cc are getting the exact same amount or less. Is 19,190 the max i can get? I am OOS so my total estimated cost is 51,000!!! Even with the grant...i still can't afford to attend a public univerisity -_-....lamee. Is it possible to get more than this if i appeal? Is there any tips on paying for this crazy expensive UC school?</p>

<p>OP, do not think UCs are your State Univ if you are an oos. Your parents didn’t pay CA tax after all and thus shouldn’t consider a UC as your ‘public’ school. The fact that you were even admitted to UCSD as an oos applicant is an accomplishment for you. Financial consideration usually favors Ivy schools or wealthy private universities if your EFC is so low. OOS state universities should be either no different from or even worse than many private schools from the cost of attendance point of view.</p>
