guyz is 253 for TOEFL (TWE=4.5) ok?? By the way, do u guyz know how I can get feedbacks for my TWE? I seriously think that score is not appropriate for me. I always get A in English classes and even got a A in my IB English A1 class..anyways, would that score still be all right.. in fact, I have CR score for SAT around 600 which might improve above 700..

Opinions might differ here, since this is pretty borderline - 250 is usually the lowest competitive score. You might want to retake the TOEFL and get a 270 since this would make you on par with every one else, although it might not matter in the end.
At Amherst, if you have both your CR and Writing scores over 700, there's no need to submit the TOEFL anyway.

i think try giving one more shot for a 270+ ..dont take anything loop creep in the application

if you can get your SAT cr and writing scores up there, with your A's in english and all, they are goin to know tht ur TOEFL was sth of a fluke.

seems like you are taking the SAT again, just focus on improving your cr and wr scores to over 700 each. a 253 toefl should hardly matter then. if your SAT scores come out good, you shouldn't bother retaking the TOEFL in my opinion.

In fact a 700+in sat CR and Writing is more than 300+ in toefl(not possible i know)... Sat scores gud..toefl scores bad means u hav got gud english..and nothin else.....Toefl really becomes insignificant then

BTW HPM_twista89 are u still seeing this

haha.. :) yes i am looking at it everyday.. thanks to everyone!!! I have decided to take it one more time..

cool.i thought it otherwise.:)
