A graduate program in clinical psychology which leads to becoming a therapist, wouldn’t require the same kind of research experience that other psychology programs would.

Don’t worry just yet about grad school. Finish your new undergraduate program first. While you are in that program, you will have time to think about your goals for your post-graduate studies.

Is psychology best undergraduate degree for that ?

fatpig554: hmmmm,… i heard on this board opposite, and that’s that it is not nearly as hard to get scholarship as intl for grad school as it is for undergrad if you were good student… ?

I think psychology is a good undergraduate major to go with. If you can go with a minor in human resources or that, it certainly wouldn’t hurt, especially if you want to do something applied.

PhD is going to be rather research oriented and those programs are geared for that. It won’t make you less qualified for a job, but it might be too much for what you want to go into.

As an undergrad, research wouldn’t hurt, but I’d do internships if possible. I’m not sure how Europe works, though.

Europe works that it doesnt work, if i may say so. We dont have minors at all, so i cant minor in that… i can only do 1 thing. And not sure how would internship look, no such thing here. :(

and yeah i totally dont want to do research…
