My sat is 1150 reading plus math combined. I have a few extra- circulars which aren't that great cuz I didn't have a ride and Money to do so( unless provided by school). I wanna go to a good university bcuz I moved countries (seven seas!) and sacrificed everything for this, and I dont want it to go to waste.
What kind of prestigious universities like ucla or Stanford would accept me in California. I currently live in Texas?
Also, do u think I have chances for Baylor and ut Austin?

This has to be a ■■■■■.

No it’s not… These really are my grades and I want to get into a good university!!!

If this is not a ■■■■■ (which I am not so sure about)…

Your stats are simply too low for top schools, you lack the GPA, SAT scores and ECs needed…

Please don’t feed the ■■■■■. If you believe this than I have a flying boat to sell you. PM me.

Ok, it’s my first time on college confidential so I don’t know how u figure out a ■■■■■. And I’m pretty sure I’m not as smart as most of u answering.
Other than that, I am in an internship 5.0 class at school which is hard to get into. Also, I moved from academic English to ap lit although I am an rail student. My gpa dropped because of my very bad sophomore year!

All top tier UCs (UCLA,UCB,UCSD) have average of over 4.0 GPA and over 2000 SAT score (over 2100 for UCLA and UCB)… Considering that GPA and SAT scores are the top factors in admission consideration, your chances are very slim.

Nope, not unless your high school is ranked very highly at the national level and it is extremely difficult to get a 4.0. You also don’t have amazing E.C.s or SAT scores. Your chances are slim to none for schools like Standford.

Lol “extra- circulars”

Your GPA isnt bad, really depends on the rigor of classes. But your SAT score will prevent you from much of a shot.

3.5 is actually a minimum requirement for UC schools if you’re coming from out of state. Given that your UC testing index also isn’t that high, you don’t have a very good chance at UC’s. I would at least retake the SAT if you could do better.

Stanford is waaayyyyy out there though. Sorry.

Baylor might be a bit of a reach, but you should have pretty good chances at UT-Austin.
