Do i have a chance with a 3.76. I also work 35-40hrs/wk as a lab technician working with engineers. Im also in an engineering club and physics club.

Anybody? Pleeaaasssee! Haha :D

My friend with a 3.97 got in. My friend with 3.89 got denied. Both were engineering majors. Industrial engineering is one of the least impacted engineering major (still impacted). That 3.76 is around what you need to get into to UCLA. So I’d say Berkeley is much harder to get into. Chances are slim, but who knows? Write a good essay and you might get in.

Anybody else think i have shot? Haha

The engineering majors are impacted at both UCLA and Cal. Your GPA is a little lower than average. You’re going to have to write a killer easay. Honestly, it’s all speculations. You might get lucky and get in or you might not. If you have the cash, apply to 4-5 UC’s and hopefully you’ll get accepted to at least one. Focus on the essay prompts! That will make all the difference.
