Is 4.0 weighted too little for Ivy League?

i realized that everyone who wants to go to an ivy league has an UNweighted GPA of 4.0 or up. i found out that mine is about 4.0 WEIGHTED. so im wondering if i should improve the GPA or i still have a shot. Thanks

Your Unweighted GPA is important. For most schools, a Unweighted GPA greater than 4.0 is not possible unless A+ is greater than 4.0. You are going to have to show all your classes and your grades to us, or you can ask someone at your school if school is still in session.

-if only AP is weighted and it is only weighted +.5, then a weighted 4.0 is fine
-if only AP is weighted but it is weighted +1.0, then a 4.0 isn't that good (depending on how many ap classes you have had)
-if ap and honors are both weighted, and you have had both honors and ap, then a 4.0 with both of them weighted isn't that good

so just tell us what is weighted, and then we could give a better opinion on if it is good or not

It totally depends on the school. If class rank is much under 5%, yes.

4.0 weighed? nah; Ivy leaguers usually have unweighed 4.0's.
