Never got a chance to answer 20 questions because of time. Would this score be good enough to get into a decent school? Thanks.

Depends on your definition of “decent.” Can you give examples of where you want to go? To be brutally honest, that’s not a very impressive score especially cos it’s a subject test, I think 650+ gives you a significantly better shot at good schools.

If you took Ecological Bio, your percentile is 35. If you took molecular bio, your percentile is 23. Either way, that score isn’t very good but you still have time to study and retake it. Also, like ABCd3f3 said, it depends on what you consider decent.

Going to be brutally honest here: if you’re seriously considering Ivy League schools, top 25 schools, or even many top 50 schools, a 560 on the Biology SAT Subject Test is not good at all.

What is a good score on the Bio E test for colleges like: JHU, Case Western, WashintonU, and UChicago

At least 700-750+, even 750-800 for JHU and UChicago. If your major is in the sciences, especially life sciences (i.e. applying to JHU’s BME program), a score as close as possible to 800 is necessitated.

Of course, there are always going to be some people who got into good schools or good programs with mediocre SAT IIs, but it’s pretty idiotic to simply assume you yourself will be in that crowd of exceptionally rare folk. You need to work hard and get the highest possible scores, always.

I am terribly sorry and I really don’t want to be mean…but the average for Biology-Ecological is 604 and the average for Biology-Molecular is 635. Your score is kind of below average. But don’t worry you can always retake it and do better!
