Is 6 courses to many to take?

Im taking 6 courses next semester (21 units) and not sure if I know what if its a smart choice yet. I have 5 courses on M-W 8 a.m- 8-p.m and history T-Th 1:00 p.m to 2:30 p.m. Im taking these classes:
Psych 5 Statistics (5 units)
Sociology 1B (3 units)
Communication B1 - (3 units)
Antro B2 - (3 units)
Philosophy B9 (4 units)
History 17A (3 units)
Any tips on how to manage this schedule??

Tips? Reduce your courseload!
Are you working? If you are working, this won’t work.
I would never recommend that a student take 21 units. The statistics course will probably have an additional lab.
Depending on the books for the course and your ability to read 40 pages per night, I wouldn’t do it.

Im not working. Just school.

Agree with Aunt Bea - reduce your courseload, it’s just too much!

Its not impossible but it is hard. I did 6 classes last summer semester made straight A’s.

no. not really. It depends on the individual. You are not going to have a life outside of school this semester though.

It depends on the person, and seeing as you don’t work, it’s doable, but if you’re taking that many classes to graduate early or something, you should probably just take 1 or 2 over summer instead of overdoing it during the fall/spring.

I do want to graduate early, hopefully by end of this summer.

You’re going to have to work on college full-time if this is the course load you want to take. It might not be a wise idea to take so many courses at one time if you want to maintain a high GPA. I’d recommend taking easy courses if you plan on taking that many at a time.

Just finished my first day of school and I believe I can do it as long as manage my time well and stay on top of the weekly requirements.

I should not be too difficult, especially because none of the above are really science based (those seem to be the most time consuming and difficult). Nevertheless, stats is one of the most time consuming classes, unless you learn how to utilize the graphing calculators! The rest of the classes that you listed are fairly easy. I once took 6 classes and I wasn’t that bad at all. One of my recommendations is …DON’T PROCRASTINATE!

Thanks Jessie
