Is 650 in sat subject test math level 2 a decent score?

I got 650 for this january sat subject test math level 2.
I'm currently taking AP Calculus BC and getting As.
What would colleges think about my 650?
Should I retake it in May?
Im planning to major in linguistics in college which is not really related with math.
Oh by the way I also took the level 1 test and got 710.
Will it look better if I send both of the scores?
or should I even send just the level 1?
What should I do...!?

Definitely retake the Math II and this time, you really need to study a lot more. Buy the Barrons prep book.

Depends on what schools you are aiming for, but on a general note, you should retake. Top schools would like to see 750+. In general, over 700 would be okay.

I think you should retake it since I believe you’ll do fine…
As in Cal BC proved that you are smart and you can do math.

^Nope it doesn’t necessarily prove that the original poster is good at math right now. It can be a really lenient school that caters to students high grades and I do agree that he needs additional practice. By the way, the average score for Math IIC is around 660, I believe. Therefore he is slightly below average. Which is why one requires 770+ for Math II for sub-Ivy (ex. Northwestern, Johns Hopkins) and Ivy league level schools.

Oh well, that’s possible. More practises wont hurt.
Finish Barron’s. I reckon that is way harder than the actual exam.

Really? I used to think anything higher than 750 is fine.
Is 720 decent for Bio then? (sorry to ask this in this thread. =[) Is it worth sending to the sub-ivies?

In short, no, though the percentile is the most important factor. If you feel that a score with that percentile is good enough for the schools you are applying to, by no means should you waste money on a retake.
