Net price calculator. You MUST run it for EACH college. (We say this for all students, no matter what, because each college calculates differently and there are always bad surprises despite the college’s assurances.)
Beside introductory psychology, there’s social psychology, developmental psychology, consumer psychology, biopsychology… It’s a fascinating field.
@MadisonMJ Fair enough fair enough.
I ended up going to Howard University. In their 6 year BS/MD program because the scholarship covers the majority of the years. And in an era of student loan debt, it was a lucrative offer indeed.
7 APs may be TOO (not to) many classes or may not be, but I would be considering how boring this makes you and your application. All work and no other interests sounds like millions of other over-stressed students that have nothing to put on their app but a high gpa. So what, nothing unique there. Senior year is once, you have 40-50 years ahead of you to work. I am not saying go into a drunken stuper all year or blow it off in any way, but for goodness sake, smile and laugh for some of it. Enjoy friends or activities, don’t be so one dimensional. Robots really don’t make good people. And I mean this kindly, even if it came off a little harsh.
How are you going to get full rides to so many schools if you need to take the ACT and SAT again? Or are you talking need based aid rather than scholarships?
@scotlandcalling I have taken them and did well enough to meet the full-ride scholarships at many of the schools (not all though, some only partial). I just know I can do better. And I would need aid and scholarships, but rather get my money in scholarships and grants.
@blueskies2day Yeah, it was pretty late and as soon as I posted it I realized the grammatical errors and wanted to rewrite it too “Are 7 AP classes too many?” But such is life. XD. It did not come of harsh. I ma no longer taking 7. I will be taking 5 ( that are either required at my point or are the ones I like) and will have 6 tests. I’m still up in the air for independent studying on AP because the topics i wanted to study i really enjoy but my school doesn’t offer. I am re-evaluating my schedule and am actually trying to become the tennis manager at my school. I have other interests too! I’m not a robot, promise!
Thank you for your response.
