Is 740 CR decent enough for Brown?

<p>Is 740 good enough? My superscore is only 2240, so I want to know if it’s even worth it. I only have 700 Math, but am applying to something completely unrelated to math. Are my scores decent? Thanks…</p>

<p>Don’t worry, it’s a legit question due to anxiety and Brown is an Ivy League school that’s very selective. It’s normal to be anxious and doubtful of yourself. </p>

<p>I think it’s a GREAT score for ANY ivy league. A 2240 is in the range of many of the greatest schools. But keep in mind that a lot of the more selective colleges (like Yale and Stanford) do not superscore…</p>

<p>I’d be more worried about a 700 in math even though that’s a good score too.</p>

<p>Looking at past posts on decision threads for Brown, I saw people get in with SAT sections scores in the 600s.</p>

<p>Thanks. Yeah, I was expecting a better math score, but at least I’m not majoring in science or math. I really don’t think I’ll get into Brown, but it’s worth a shot. Good luck with your apps.</p>
