My friend is on this post, so I thought I would contribute. My SATs were REALLY low, comparable to yours and I GOT IN. It really depends on so many other factors you really can't say just based on SATs, good luck to the ND prospectives.

In from PA. and am a very strong Irish catholic. It has always been my dream to attend this university. Im sure everyone that knows me is sick of me talking about it, or mentioning it. It seems as though the admissions officers just have gut feelings about ppl, bc they chose ppl that are all over the place with grades and so fourth. Hopefully my ND pride will show in my essay.

Here are my tests scores. i Just got in early action Notre DAME!! (my highest combined was 1690) anything is possible...

Wow, that gives a lot of hope to others hawaiinsuperman. BTW, my sis got accepted EA and is really excited; the campus is amazing by the way (I live in Indy).

im applying next year from NY! i think alot of new englanders see indiana as the middle of no where, like alot of people here, honest to god, forget its a state.

I'm a freshman at ND right now and i definitely remember being on here wondering about who got on and how my chances were. It's so funny to come back and look at the boards now having an actual semester at Notre Dame done.

I'm from Massachusetts, and I saw earlier that someone wrote something about there not being many people from New England applying. It's so true. I was the only one from my high school to get in (besides my twin sister who is there now with me) and also, 1 of i think 4 people who even applied at all! Not many people in the Northeast seem to know about Notre Dame or how it really is comparable to the Ivies. I think a lot of people here get caught up in only seeing the Ivies as great schools, ignoring schools from the Midwest that are of the same caliber, like Notre Dame. Good luck to all of you!! I can officially say now that Notre Dame is AMAZING. I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's been even better than I expected. GO IRISH!
