Hi, I am taking the SAT on Saturday and my latest KD college prep practice score was a 1530 750EBR+W 780M. (KD tests are about 20-40 points harder than the real SAT). Is this high enough for Caltech?
What do you honestly think? Assuming that the difference in difficulty will increase ur score by 30 points, do you think a 1560 is bad? No bro you’re fine, some things you need to judge yourself
@Swiper902 Thanks for the reply! I know my actual score is low for Caltech and MIT at a 1490 790M 700EBRW
You gotta love CollegeConfidential sometimes, eh?
Anything above a 1500 is perfectly fine for CalTech. By perfectly fine, it really means you’ll be on the same footing as the other top applicants competing for less spots than there are qualified applicants. What you should be concerned with ultimately are the other factors that make you stand out! Good luck
1560 is awesome!! But unfortunately, just about everyone who applies to Cal Tech has about the same, along with almost perfect transcripts. Kids with average scores and grades, typically don’t apply to Cal Tech. What else makes you stand out?
