I was put in AP World History in my freshman year of high school by accident. About a week in we were given the choice of staying or moving into a regular 9th grade honors world history class and I chose to stay more out of convenience than to challenge myself. Because of this I kind of slacked a lot in the beginning but really got into it when the pace and workload kept me challenged and occupied. I was still too lazy to seriously study but took the test anyway out of curiosity to see what score I’d get. I ended up with a 3. That isn’t too bad right?
It’s passing.
It’s great for 9th grade! It’s one of the harder AP courses. I don’t know what the distribution of scores is this year, but in 2014 it was this for 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1:
World History 6.4% 15.8% 31.7% 27.9% 18.2%
Thank you for all your input. I was a bit nervous when I got the score back since I felt I could’ve done better if I’d properly studied.
