Is a 5 with a 4 subscore still a 5?

I got a 5 on the AP Calc BC test, with a 4 subscore on the AB section. Does this mean I still got a 5 on the test as a whole?

yes .

sry its a 4.5

No, it's a 3. 'cause they'll be like "a lower score on more basic material? BLASPHEMMMYYYY!!!!"

Stop being mean to jumpman, Ray. Of course it's a five! Congrats!

It's better than mine...a 3 on BC and a 2 on the subscore.

yea i know...

Yeah, it's still a 5. Although if you're using it for placement, it might be worth it to go into an easy-ish class to strengthen your basics.

It's a 5. It does however mean you are not a real man.

Yes; had it been the reverse, no, and you would have been placed with regards to the 5 on AB and not the 4 on BC in some places.

"It does however mean you are not a real man."

Haha. I think it's because I messed up on some of the easier AB problems by making stupid mistakes. I thought it was really funny when I found out.

Thanks for the answers.
