MEH, I have 690s across the board for my SAT II tests... JUST ONE QUESTION AWAY from a 700. :[ I have decent SAT Is (2200) and kinda a sucky GPA... (and no, I'm not those that think a 3.7uw is sucky. lol...)

Since I'm retaking chemistry this Saturday, should I retry my previous ones (Math IIC and Lit) again? Or not bother with wasting the money because I've obviously not prepped for them... -_-

depends on what schools your looking at...if you're looking at ivies/other really top schools...you probably want to retake...otherwise you should be fine

Join the club! I got a 690 for my German with Listening. It happens...
I'm retaking, though. So I guess you could too. Although my situation is different, since I still have a year left to prep. I'm retaking because I know I can do better. If that's not the same for you, then I don't think you should retake.

If you are dealing with certain subjects with extremely high percentiles (e.g. Chinese, and you are a native speaker), then I guess 690 would be considered as "bad". However, for most of the subject tests, I'd say that's a good score. In fact, I think it's enough for Ivies...I remember someone on this forum posting a statement from the MIT website saying that high 600s are fine for them.

I have basically the same question. I got a 760 on French w/ Listening, and I'm pretty sure I could have done better. Would you say that this score is up to Yale's standards? (Yale is my dream school)

I hate to be the one telling people to get a life and be satisfied with a 750, because I'm usually the one receiving such harangues. But Rockermcr, if 760 is not good for Yale, then I don't know what is..... Go work on your essays/extra-curriculars instead of worrying about a 760!
