I’m an International Student and I will do my Bachelor’s Degree in Canada. I want to do a Master’s Degree in my homecountry Germany (or maybe in Austria) after this.
Will my Canadian Bachelor’s Degree be accredited in Germany (Austria?)?
A Bachelor’s Degree in Germany takes only three years, compared to four years in Canada. So it should be accredited/recognized? Does anyone know?
Yes, Germany will recognize the degree as an actual Bachelor’s degree.
HOWEVER, that does not mean that you can just enroll in a German Master’s program. German universities are very nit-picky about undergraduate degrees from other universities, even other universities within Europe. They’d probably evaluate your Canadian degree course by course, and then make you to take every single course required for their own Bachelor’s degree that you did not already take in Canada, before admitting you to their Master’s program.
It also depends how well-known the Canadian university is.
Many European universities will recognize the Canadia Master though.
What subject are we talking about (Political Science or Engineering?)
