Is a BBA or a BA in accounting better?

<p>I currently attend a university that offers a degree in accounting (my major) and I'm thinking of transferring to a university that only offers a bachelor of business administration. I'm wondering if I should stay and get my degree in accounting or transfer and get a BBA? I want to sit for the CPA exam and continue onto getting a certification to become a certified fraud examiner.</p>

<p>I just want to know which degree is better for me? Is a BBA less specialized?</p>

<p>The name of the degree is unimportant, it’s passing the CPA exam and the courses you take to get any given degree that really count. Compare them side by side and see if there’s any difference - then make decision based on that.</p>
