What kind of degrees are accepted as undergraduate degrees in the USA?

For what purpose?

I wanted to know if a bcom degree from India will be accepted as an undergraduate degree in the USA

Yes, that much was clear. Maybe my question wasn’t.

I meant to ask whether you mean accepted by potential employers, or accepted by universities where you’d like to do graduate study, or what?

I don’t really know the answer in either case (though I suspect it’s "probably, but perhaps not with as much enthusiasm as a B.A. or B.S. from an American university). But there are so many potential employers and so many universities in the U.S. that I find it hard to believe there would be one answer for all of them.

I meant to ask if bcom would be accepted as an undergraduate degree by universities in the us …will i be able to pursue an mba with it.

Oh, I am hardly an expert on M.B.A. programs, but I wouldn’t expect a problem with that.

The most competitive M.B.A. programs are more concerned with applicants’ work experience than with where they got their undergraduate education. Less competitive programs are…well, less competitive.

But to get a more reliable answer than mine, you might have to choose a few American business schools and email them your question.

I’m pursuing my bcom degree and have mailed some universities regarding this matter. Feel free to pm me.
