I really leaning towards doing business with a double major in computer science and minor in art.But I really enjoy the sciences (like chemistry and biology) but I’m not sure which route to go…Suggestions? The school I’m going to next year has lots of prereqs for the varying schools (business and science etc.) so should I just pick one and go with it or make sure I fill the requirements for all of them (which might be kind of stressful and waste of valuable time…)
Sorry if this isnt the right thread, but please just take a second to reply!!
I went through a similar choice during my college application process so instead of telling you which you should do (which no one but yourself can do), I’ll just tell you how I chose.
I was deciding between graphic design/architecture and business. I had a strong background in mathematics and economics during high school but was also in a number of advanced art courses. It came down to where I saw myself professionally after college. I realized I was passionate about art but I couldn’t see it as a career. One of my high school friends in my studio art course ended up pursuing a major and now a career in architecture/industrial design and we always talk about “what if.”
If it really is that tough a decision for you, you will undoubtedly always have the same “what if” mentality down the road, but I don’t regret my decision because I like what I do now also.
Physically list out what you like about the separate majors then prioritize those aspects based on how important they would be to you in a career.
